About Plains Cover Crop

Our Story

Having grown up in Northeast Nebraska, one on a crop farm, the other on a cattle farm, Bodie and Cody were destined to make their living in the agricultural world.  After both attending college and receiving degrees in Agriculture, they knew they wanted to help farmers be as successful as possible while helping to educate them on being good stewards of the land for the success of generations to come.  By integrating cover crops into farming practices, they knew that farmers could improve soil fertility, reduce reliance on chemicals, and promote sustainable agriculture.  Knowing this and seeing it happen first hand, they created Plains Cover Crop.  Since 2018, they have not only helped hundreds of farmers but they have also provided food plot seed mixes to customers throughout the United States.
